Another Detailing Day on "A New Begining"

Today was another one spent, trying to keep warm, and making cold fingers feel the clay. Detailing is what takes massive amounts of time. Half of today's work wasn't videoed because I didn't want to put people to sleep as they watch. I'll tell you one thing though, that clay hot box I made last week, keeps that clay perfectly soft. Not to soft, and not to hard.

Final Photographs of the clay at the end of today.

Hey David... don't you have a heater for the studio?

I do... lol... it's on a timer and if I get there just an hour or so after it's turned on, it's still cold.
Some days, if it's below zero and windy, nothing keeps it warm.. lol I'd love to put in a stove but ain't my building.

I spend a lot of time in a cold basement... the heat pump keeps it almost comfortable unless it's really cold outside, but then I turn on the halogen spotlights and aim them at myself!! Heat lamps help too.
