Hi David ... Trying to decide? You always come up with wonderful ideas, and I'm sure you will this time. But if you are still having trouble, do what the Apostle James said ... "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God ..." But I know you know that.

I like the idea of a mountain man with the Indians ... but have you thought about a old man of God, perhaps an old southwestern priest with a cross being confronted by them?

But whatever you do ... go with your heart.

Carl, still here in central Illinois.

Hello Master David,
how about an early 18th century Spanish lancer aka soldado de cuera (shield, caparisoned horse, lance, and escopeta) and a Plains Apache armored horse and rider - long lance, rawhide shield etc. These early lords of the Plains, rather gaunt Athapaskan horse raiders seem to me like an interesting subject for a sculpture?
