Started on one of the two figures on the back part of this piece. I'm creating a bare chested warrior expressing a voice to the spirits of fallen warriors. Crying out his dream of having the restoration of his lost way of life.

You may think all this comes easy to me... with 51 years of sculpting under my belt.. Well I've been scared to do this face since the last time I did a video.. I just couldn't face it till today. Yeah I was scared. I decided, face your fear and see what happens. I'm not unhappy with how it turned out.

Back to work on the second figure next to the woman. It's a male and he's wearing a leather shirt. I rearrange the arms into a interesting gesture, and then push his head into the shoulder and arm of the left arm that's up in the air. I also explain a bit about the numbness I'm experiencing in my thumb and index finger of my right hand. Nothing bad, but it does hurt.. often causing me to grunt and breath hard as I work. It is a bit painful at times.

Started working on the figure of a woman in this composition of Ghost Dancers. I realized that the Clayette Clay may not work for me on a small figure. Still a great clay, but to hard for this figure. I had a box of Chavant's NSP (None Sulphur Plasteline) Clay soft... it was buried under another box in the back of my studio.. Found it yesterday as I was cleaning the back room.. So pulled it out and started using that clay.. So much better..

Worked on the base to make it easier to take apart so that I can work on the figures easier. Towards the end of the day, with new clay, and a design that's really complicated.. I was getting frustrated by the end of today. I'll be back in two days to work on it.. Maybe with a bit of a cool down, I'll get back on track.
